Blue Hour

Blue Hour at the Point Arena Lighthouse. This image was taken on Kodak Ektar 100 with the Yashica Mat 124G. I was surprised how well Ektar did in this color spectrum and how well the Yashica was doing, given that it was very windy. When packing for our trip to Point Arena I first had packed my large-format gear as well as some medium format cameras I wanted to try out. However, given that space in the car was very limited I left my large-format gear at home and only took ‘small’ cameras with me. It’s been great to be limited in that way as it gave me more headroom to focus on trying to find compositions. I’ve still got a lot to learn.
