Best Friends. I was covering the work of Goods for Good and just after we finished, the boy on the right came up and wanted to have his picture taken. I was about to take the shot when he saw his friend, ran over to him, pulled him in, and gestured that his friend had to be in it, too. I was very happy to oblige.
Little Anglers. Another shot from Lake Malawi. I was really impressed and rather saddened by the amount of work some children are doing here, especially girls. I took this shot while waiting for an African fish eagle to come back to its roost and had to wait for quite a while. Watching these little anglers helped me pass the time and these guys were standing at the exact same spot in the rather cold water for at least an hour. I hope the fish they caught warmed them later.
